1 – 180 gramsunMEAT FISH-FREE TUNA STYLE FLAKES IN WATER or SUNFLOWER OIL
1 pcpotato, peeled, diced and boiled
3 stalks scallions, chopped
1 tsplemon zest
1 tbsplemon juice
2-3 tbspmayonnaise (vegan mayo, optional)
Dash ofgarlic salt, or to taste
Sprinkle ofonion powder
¼ cupall-purpose flour mixed with,
vegetable oil for pan frying
choice of dipping sauce – ranch, aioli or tartar
1.Drain liquid from unMEAT Tuna-Style Flakes then place in a medium-sized bowl. Roughly mash the potatoes then add to the tuna flakes.
2.Add scallions, lemon zest, lemon juice, mayonnaise, garlic salt, onion powder and pepper and mix well. Portion mixture to 6 or 8 then form into patties by hand.
3.Dredge in flour and cornstarch mixture and pan fry in hot oil until golden. Serve with your favorite dip.
